In the post-pandemic future of work, seven out of ten US and European organizations will pivot to a hybrid work model, according to Forrester Research. A successful hybrid strategy would need to enable remote and in-office workers to collaborate seamlessly, efficiently, and on equal footing. Here are three technologies promising to help employers embrace the new hybrid model of work: 


    Immersive Technologies 

    One of the biggest challenges of hybrid workplace is to create a space where people in office and those working remotely can interact in much the same way as if they were all in the same conference room. And Immersive technologies — such as virtual and augmented reality — are promising to offer equal participation and presence to people in the room as well as at home. In its report 5 decisions about the future of work HR leaders must make in 2021, Gartner advises HR leaders to consider how investing in these technological tools will create demand for new roles or skill sets. The IT research company goes on to predict, “Immersive technologies will help organizations create new channels for high value digital interaction, experiences that would be otherwise difficult to replicate in a hybrid workforce.”
