Professional Background: As Chief Digital Officer, Jordi Neves heads up a 35-strong department responsible not only for technology but also communication and marketing – an acknowledgement that technology drives the organization’s communication and marketing efforts. He has played a key role in developing all of the Volvo Ocean Race digital platforms over the last two races. Earlier, he was Chief of Technology and Engineering Director for the America’s Cup sailing competition organization. He also is a veteran of IT management and leadership roles at Procter & Gamble, HP, and DHL.
